Brazil-India Trade and Economic Relations

Webinar on 22 November 2012 0800-1000 Hrs BRT (=1530-1730 Hrs IST)

Instead of working proforma, the Consulate General of India in Sao Paulo stressed on the need to have a road map in promoting India-Brazil trade and economic relations. We commissioned a study early 2012 to identify areas that have potential to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation but yet not been looked into or explored adequately. Thereport prepared by the Jai Group, Sao Paulo, was presented by Mr Rakesh Vaidyanathan and discussed during the webinar on 22 November 2012 from 0800-1100 Hrs BRT (i.e. 1530-18:30 Hrs IST). Final tabulation of core areas holding potential to boost India-Brazil trade may be seen at FinalCheatSheets; its index may be seen below. Those attending webinar included both Indian and Brazilian stakeholders.
