Ms. Manisha Swami

Ms. Manisha Swami joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2008.
As a career diplomat, she has served in the Embassy of India in Madrid and Manila and in various capacities in the Ministry of External Affairs. She has served as Under Secretary in the United Nations Economic & Social  (UNES) division handling multilateral work related to the UN and International organizations, desk officer for Iran in PAI Division, Deputy Secretary (Administration) in Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS). She has also served as the Head of the Branch Secretariat in Hyderabad, Telangana. While in service, she has represented in the Oxford University Foreign Service Programme from 2013.

She holds a Masters Degree in English Literature from Bikaner University, Rajasthan. She speaks Hindi, English and Spanish. Her hobbies are reading, travelling and theatre.
